It happened last June 4, 2012, the sky condition was very cloudy.

Partial Solar Eclipse

Partial Solar Eclipse observation at RTU Research and Development Building rooftop on the date of May 21, 2012 5:45am-7:10am.

Using an 8 inch newtonian skywatcher in an Equatorial mount with a glass filter, we were able to take a picture of the partial solar eclipse using a 2MP camera phone.

                        We were able to see a few sunspots during the eclipse.
